Best Cellulite Creams
We've already discussed what cellulite is and how it's
formed, and now we're going to discuss one of the methods of reducing those
fatty bumps women loathe to see: the amazing cellulite cream! Hopefully you
will have noted the tongue-in-cheek introduction, as there really isn’t a
miracle cure when it comes to this kind of thing. There are, however, cellulite
cream reviews which have many women swearing by the product in question. Obviously, your results are going to depend on the severity of your cellulite; if you're just starting to get dimples, it's going to be easier to control them. If you've had huge masses of cellulite building up over the last 20 years, it's going to be more difficult. That said, most people do see results to some degree; just be realistic with your expectations. If you're pleasantly surprised, more power to you.
Celluthin Cellulite Cream
Celluthin is similar to Cellulean (see below) in that it's active ingredient is 2% Aminophylline. Aminophylline, an asthma medication, was accidentally discovered to have the wonderful side effect of reducing fat and cellulite on women who were participating in a study. Years later these side effects were finally put to good use in the form of anti-cellulite creams (which can also be used on stretch marks and generally fatty areas.) This cream is meant to be used once or twice a day, but should not be used more frequently than that. I have included this anti-cellulite cream because it's gotten very good user reviews on Amazon.com -- do check them out.
Cellulean Anti-Cellulite Cream
You may have seen this product on the news or in any number of women’s magazines. This cellulite cream is actually quite a bit different from other creams because the active ingredient, Aminophylline, is actually used as an asthma medication. Since the cream is topical the FDA does not require a prescription for it (note that you are not meant to ingest this!) and you can buy it easily online. It’s meant to be used twice a day and results are often seen within as few as two weeks when used correctly.
Revitol Cellulite Cream
Revitol is a very popular anti-cellulite treatment which claims to reduce both cellulite and inches (although they do state it will not help you lose weight from it). If you order their Maximum Results package, they will give you two bottles free – and if you are unhappy with the results at the end of your treatment, they will refund your money. The main ingredient is caffeine, followed by extracts of Bladderwrack, Capsicum and Green Tea. It also includes Retinol-A (in the vitamin A family), Shea Butter and Horsetail extract. Revitol's suggested use is 3-4 times daily and the cream itself should not tingle or irritate your skin.
Fat Girl Slim Cellulite Cream by Bliss
I am a huge, huge fan of Bliss products. If you would like to try a cellulite cream that doesn’t cost a small fortune, you may want to go this route. As with Revitol, Fat Girl Slim’s main ingredient is caffeine, and they’ve even trademarked the name of the delivery method! This cream is said to reduce cellulite and also reduce water retention beneath the skin itself. According to the Bliss website, in a trial lasting 28 days, 87% saw a firming effect; • 85% felt a slimming effect; and 73% noticed a reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Fat Girl Slim is meant to be used twice a day.
Murad Firm and Tone Serum
Dr. Murad has produced a cellulite treatment which is said to reduce the appearance of cellulite by up to 69% and improves the overall look of your skin by up to 80%. If you’re not keen on the usage of Caffeine, you may prefer this product, as it’s main ingredients are Cat’s Claw and Cayenne Pepper. Additionally, if you’ve got stretch marks you’d like to diminish, Murad’s Firm and Tone Serum can be used on them as well. This anti-cellulite cream is meant to be used twice a day.
