Good Pet Names For Women

I like pet names. I always have. That's not to say that I've liked every pet name some have chosen for me, but I do like the idea, especially when put into practice by a gorgeous hunk of man who knows how to whisper sweet nothings into your ear. That being said, a silly name could be quite off-putting, as could lack of confidence when using it. Pet names aren't obligatory in the world of dating or even romance, so if you feel odd using them, don't worry; we don't expect you to. Just be aware that they can make a big difference when used well. I've also listed a few that may feel natural to you, but could have a 'daddy' feel to them when used with some women. (Then again, some women like that kind of thing!)

Gorgeous

British men are absolutely fantastic about this one -- there is nothing more flattering than being greeted by, "Hello, Gorgeous!" Doesn't matter if we're gorgeous or not; we're vain, vain, vain and as long as you sound sincere when you say it, we'll love you for it. Every time! And it needn't be reserved for greetings, either. "Come over here, Gorgeous" sounds pretty lovely, too!

Beautiful

Same idea as Gorgeous. Women want their men to find them beautiful, and this is a fantastically easy way for you to tell her she is, without having to wax poetic about it. A simple, "Hello, Beautiful!" will do -- I prefer the Gorgeous, myself, but that's mostly because I like the way it sounds when said by Englishmen. But I'm not picky, and neither are most women!

Sexy

This isn't a name you'd want to use while in line at the grocery store (well, maybe it is...) but it's going to go over extremely well whilst in the bedroom. If you're not sure why, scroll up to the vain, vain, vain part -- tell us we're sexy and the odds of us getting sexy are greatly increased, believe me.

Darling

Let me preface this bit by saying that this particular pet name tends to sound a bit old-fashioned with most men. It still sounds fabulous when used by Englishmen, "Hello, Darling..." and Texans, "Hello, Darlin'...." If you don't have one of these accents, you may want to test it out on a female friend and see what she thinks.

Kitten

This one is probably best reserved for the bedroom, but I've used it in my books (even used it in the title!) so I promise, it sounds fab when said by the right man. Again, it's one you should probably test on a female friend first.

Honorary Pet Names

These aren't the only pet names out there; you may want to create something original, or you may want something more innocent. The following are pretty soft and generic, but be warned; they're also names many women were called by their fathers, and they may not be keen to hear it from you in the bedroom!
