If you’re new to having a dog, you may cringe at the idea of picking up dog poo, and you might really cringe at the thought of getting anywhere near it with your hands. It's easy to put together, and is hand washable (although I'm sure most people would rather use a hose!)

Four Paws makes this simple and easy to use rake style pooper scooper. It's straightforward to use and will make poo cleanup much easier. The two pieces are connected so you don't have to worry about getting them to work together. This particular style makes it easy to clean up dog poo on the beach, dog poo among sticks or rocks or dog poo anywhere that you wouldn't want to scoop up everything else in the vicinity along with the poop itself.
Hound Dog Poop Scoop
The Hound Dog Pooper Scooper is slightly more expensive than other models but it's good quality and very popular and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It's got rake action, but you only need one hand to use it and the rake scoops the dog poo into the bag for you. Note that unlike other poo scoopers, this one can use regular grocery bags so you needn't worry about purchasing special poo bags.
